The Xanthan Gum Platform has so far displayed its beneficial properties in the treatment of a number of conditions of the anterior segment of the eye.

It has already generated two products, named Xantegel and Xanternet, which markedly improve patients’ compliance on all occasions where the ocular surface requires a lubricating, protective or wound-healing effect.
