"Bellini"

"Omaggio a Bellini" is a tribute to passion, intuition and courage. There are people leaving unquestionable and tangible marks of their passage, individuals having the skill to imagine new paths, but, above all, which have the courage to take them.

Like Vincenzo Bellini, musician from Catania, one of the greatest opera composers of the 21st century and numbered among the most significant and creative of all the ages.

Bellini had no Masters: the profound expressiveness of his melodies came from his intimate needs, grounded on the genuine tradition of the Sicilian folk music. An artist of feeling; in him the music sentence became expression, soul vibration.

Similarly Antonino Benanti and Carmelo Chines, chemists and pharmacists also from Catania, enlightened entrepreneurs, men skilled with vision and courage who succeeded in constructing a dream named SIFI.

On the 100th anniversary of their births, on the happy coincidence of 70 years from SIFI company foundation , we feel the living and beating energy lavished by the Founding Fathers.

Reminding people, celebrating the History of our SIFI it is source of intimate emotion to me, aware of how all this is the highest expression of the “life which does not terminate”. Through their works individuals perpetuate their existence: SIFI reflects the character, personality, style, gestures and dreams of those who have conceived , fought, lived and devoted their lives to the Company’s construction.

We wish to remind them with the Edition "Omaggio a Bellini" confirming our commitment to advance along the path courageously plotted according to the principle of being able to see behind .
