The book was willed and wholly realized by "Fondazione SIFI Benanti e Chines" - SIFI Benanti and Chines Foundation-, born in the memory of SIFI’s founding fathers, Antonino Benanti and Carmelo Chines, to promote initiatives having cultural, ethic, social character. The projectuality, the strong willingness to achieve ambitious targets, the effort to succeed, are values and feelings joining the venture of the company founders and that one of journeyers starting the journey to Catania and Etna. This strong link forms the basis of the choice to promote this initiative that voices a same way to interpret Catania through different languages and expressions, in the case of "Viaggi e Viaggiatori nella città del vulcano" through art and literature.
