SIFI welcomes eye experts to the Congress of the Société Française d'Ophtalmologie
SIFI, the Italian leader in the development of therapeutic solutions to treat ophthalmic disorders, is pleased to announce the establishment of its wholly owned subsidiary SIFI France SAS, located in Rueil Malmaison (Paris) and its first ever participation at a French ophthalmic meeting, namely in the Société Française d'Ophtalmologie Congress, taking place from May 5th to 8th at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
In the last years SIFI has significantly grown its international business exporting innovative pharma and medtech products. With the recent opening of its French offices, SIFI is proud to export tradition and quality abroad, and to be recognized today as an example of Italian technological excellence in pharma manufacturing, production and export.
This year's topics at SFO 2018 will include the current state of the art and future in cataract surgery, innovations and therapies regarding the retina and new surgical treatments for glaucoma. Furthermore the Annual report "Emergencies in Ophthalmology" will be presented during this International event, which will include guests and speakers from all over the world, more than 100 exhibitors, several symposia and hundreds of eye experts travelling to France for this special occasion.
During this meeting SIFI will be present with a company booth and in addition will be organizing a Symposium with focus on "Factors of success in the management of the ocular surface & Extended Depth of Focus intraocular lenses for cataract refractive surgery" which will take place on Saturday May 5th 2018 at 6.30 PM. Focal issues will be management of antibiotic resistance in ocular surgery, new trends in the management of the ocular surface and the use of extended depth of focus technology as a new opportunity for presbyopia.
